It's 2013. Some think that 13 is an unlucky number, but Michael and I love it. 13 was his jersey number when he played sports. 13 is the day in July 2011 that we got married. We were hoping Will would be born on the 13th, but we had to wait 3 more days...I digress....
I have been so busy this school year that I forgot to do Christmas cards, so I decided to create and send out New Year cards instead. 2013. I think this will be our tradition.

Over a year? Oops!
Has it been a year since I last posted? Almost. Wow!
Well, things have changed somewhat in the Dobreski household: William was born in February and is now trying to roll over! Alden and John are going to be at the same school in August! Woo hoo! Michael and I have begun our low-carb/high protein "after baby" diets (will keep you updated on our progress - I'm doing Dukan, and he's doing Atkins).
I'm also in the process of "organizing" our home to make better use of our space since we are now a family of 5! Many thanks to my friends, Faye Reed and Heather Lewis, for being such great resources for this monumental task.
Hopefully I'll remember to update the blog regularly, but, seeing as life might get in the way, if you want an update, just text me.

Nan's Notes closed its doors last month.
I worked there for over 3 years, and
those were some of the best 3 years of my life.

I will miss you, Nan's Notes.
We just returned from a week at the beach with my parents and sister.
We really need to have a reality show just for our family get-togethers. We definitely put the "fun" in dysfunctional. We had a great time. William doesn't like the water (yet). Alden and John could have lived in the pool! Mom said she loves the beach, just not the sand. The drive there and back took twice the normal time because I had to keep making stops on the way! If it wasn't one child, it was another! Such is life, I guess.
The boys had a blast at Family Kingdom
(thank you Heather, Brian, and Blake!)
I got to be "the BEST mom in the world"
to my sweet superheroes!

Baby Dobreski-licious is a BOY!
Today was the big ultrasound. As you can imagine, anticipation, excitement, and anxiety filled the air. All is well, and Baby D is healthy, and a BOY! I was right all along... :)

Wedding!
It's official! We're married! We are truly grateful for all of the love and support given to us by our families and friends :) We had a great time at the beach. Who knew John was such a fish?!?? Alden was tired of the beach by day two, but continued going to search for sea creatures and build sand castles anyway (lol). We're home now and hope everyone has a great summer!
